Underwater out of bounds loop

I encountered this problem while doing the second part of the Sortie today. The map was Stephano, Uranus. Mission type was exterminate and the condition "Melee Only." Getting through the level required a long underwater trip, during which a strong current hit me. It pushed me up and outside of the playable area. Screen faded to black and I respawned where I was when the current first hit me. Naturally it hit me again and pushed me out of bounds... again. Movement was impossible and archwing skills couldn't be used. Unstuck command did nothing. Soon after another member of the group hit the same tide and we were both stuck. I must've respawned thirty times this way, before two other group members were able to get to extraction, starting the countdown and finishing the stage.

Some screenshots of where this occurred would be helpful, if you come across this tile again. Especially the map view so the tile can be identified. It's a big ocean!
