Players trolling on cetus/fortune

So time before i didnt give a damn aboout this problem, but latelly this became just too popular among players

So for example,i just came to cetus for a teralysts hunt, and what i got as a result - 2 low rank dudes that just

1)launch the mission for hunting

2)go mining/fishing or afk/just running around the map for no reason and hoping other 2 will do it for them

Sometimes its making me mad when a newby just doesnt listen to others, when we ask to just come and loot the FREE theralyst body to just get a shard and activate the shrine two times so we can just kill it even without him - he  just dont care about anything

Or even beg him to leave,he doesnt do anything anyways

But that things that buggs me about the most - not even newby do this,i have seen many "elite" players doing this

For example on fortune its kinda easy to finish all of mission parts solo, but also when the objectives scale on number of players in party its getting kinda hard to 100% the side one, specially when someone just triggers it and runs away

So enough whine, what i recommend is simple - punishing players that dont do the objectives a k a afk/or just doing their stuff that they should do solo

Do not connect other players to host-trolls like this or in reverse - do not connect trolls to normal party

Feature option to leave eidolons/fortune or just any mission with all the loot solo, without the party just like on deffence where you have an option to fight or retreat to not waste your time waiting for them to do their stuff

P.S I know solo is an option or make pre-made group, but sometimes you just dont want to waste x4 more time on doing smth solo when you can get NORMAL teammates and finish everything faster

Edit:Also cuz i saw a bunch of excaliburs with MK1 sets leeching on lvl 40 missions and just doing nothing,i want to see and warning like this

"Warning,YOU ARE NOT PREPARED ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) for this mission, its too dangerous for you to go there" and just dont let totally noob go on to theralyst hunts,or missions when they cant even kill a mob with a f**** magazin load, not even armored,a common solider, cuz curious noobs often go "try their powers" on high levels and as a result fail the whole team

You can still report them you know?

EDIT: Punishing players that disconnect or go afk is not a good solution, I personally got some connection issues sometimes, I don't want to get a timeout because my internet broke

& also, that's my opinion but I don't get people wanting to finish everything as fast as they can, I get that you want to do a maximum of stuff in a minimum amount of time, but you have the right to actually enjoy the game without rushing

Reminds me of when grinding bounties for the awful Saturn Six dailies, and people getting mad and telling me to leave when I was ready to extract. Like, you're some random loser in an online game, lol the second you're rude to me I have no desire to make anything easier for you. You're probably bringing some of this behavior on yourself by being a #$&(%.

Report them. If they wanna fish and benefit from others they should pick free roam, simple as that. If they actively accepted a bounty in cetus/fortuna and head into the plains/vallis then they are leeching, which isnt accepted by neither the playerbase or DE.

There's a fine difference between wanting to finish as fast as possible and wanting your squad to play the game properly.  Most people in this community are in agreement that people who go off doing random tasks during open world bounties are jack offs.

I get not everybody wants to rush - but if you want to stop and smell the daisies, do it on your own time, not when you have a squad of people hoping/relying on your participation.

I agree with the beginning part though - we obviously can't be punishing people for connection issues.

Well I never really played in squads since I'm a solo player :p

i mean when they do in on purpose

and reporting is not the big option, when people just whine in chat, scream in voicechat, and dont even know about report option, they might get 1-3 reports but that wont do the trick sadly

As well as i understand that we should enjoy the game, but, not when others suffer because of someone

Personally,i had a bunch of failed survarial and other tusks when a dude just went around wondering

Just, at the start of a tridolon/profit taker/anything you need people, check for MR and weapons. If you see a mk1 braton, leave and restart right away. It's better than slowly doing the thing with a team dragging you down.

Might be racist to good willed low MR people, but honestly bellow MR14 you have better things to do than eidolons

I disagree.... I think at MR 14 or lower you should be doing Eidolons more than anything else...

To give an order of idea I meant, basically bail if you see mr3 with mk1 braton.

Don't remember well where I was at those MR

Well I'm trying to help you there, if you don't want to use any advice that I'm giving you, then don't make a thread about it, it's not going to help in any way

First thing you should do when joining a public eidolon hunt is check everyone’s profile by pressing ESC and look at how many captures they have and what amps they have built.

if you are the shooter/limb breaker you are the only one who needs a good weapon, the rest of the squad only need good,,,ish amps.

If no one has any of the above leave.

As for players (of any MR rank) that prefer to scab rather than help with the objective/s? Well you can leave them too (doesn’t take long) or you could use some of what time you have available to play the game and take a series of screenshots of you asking numerous times for them to come help with the mission and report them to DE (can take quite along time).

if someone goes fishing during a bounty I go after them and start shooting into the water to scare their fish away.

it wastes my time, but it also wastes theirs and as an added bonus it pisses them off

Best post in the topic.

The amount of captures and amp are a better indication as to whether or not you will have a successful eidolon hunt or not more so than MR however I agree with you on MR and the profit taker.

Well, I try not to discriminate on captures. If the guy has very few captures but a 223 and Lanka, at least he's trying

dont forget to shoot the animal when they're hunting. I literally had someone go on a swear tirade for like 5 minutes once, which I then reported through support. Was fun #*!%ing that leech over.

If you don’t want to slowly do the thing with a team dragging you down, you have to discriminate.

MR doesn’t tell you anything about a players hunting experience and or success rate but captures along with amps do,
