A few days back , I was talking and chatting through the region chat when I saw a guy with MR 1 asking for help on Index. Out of kindness , (and since I sort of need credits for mods), I decided to answer the call of help. Along the way I learn that he is sort of transferring some of his stuff from his old account to his new account, and due to the trading tax , he needs a ton of credits. So, we did a couple of rounds in index, one on med one on high and he said he is going to transfer his account for a moment, so he left the party, logged off ,and did his stuff , or at least I think, since I am not over there. Afterward he contacted me again ,and we continued the Index run for 6 more times, and at the end he insisted that he wants to gift me something as a reward. To my surprise he wants(insisted) to trade me a Catchmoon riven with +65% multishot and +76% fire rate with negative something mag cap , as well as 200 plat. As a polite gesture, I traded a coupled of unranked mods - one Defiled Snapdragon stance and an Adaption . After which we parted ways and logged off.
A few day later , preciously on the 20th of June, I received a message from DE that stated that there's some suspicious transactions that were found during an investigation and some items were reversed ,please contact DE Support to assist in the investigation and to get the matter resolved as soon as possible.
It is not a really big deal , it is just that I am missing 200 plat and the riven, but got my Stance and Adaptation back. I have already submitted the support ticket to DE, so I am patiently waiting for the reply and all. But after going through the steam forums , and a lot of players has been saying this is the case of some "Black market plat" thing.....something along the way of third-party website purchase or something, while others said the system thought I scammed the other guy or something..... really weird-ed out by all theses...
