Thorxes510
What's the best way for a new player to make platinum so that they can buy more weapon/frame slots? I've got a couple of gold mods - but they seem to sell for only about 1 platinum; am I missing something? Related to the question above - Auction Houses. I've seen posts that mention this topic has been brought up thousands of times and reasons have been given for not introducing such a system. Can someone please link an OFFICIAL DE RESPONSE outlining THEIR reasons why they won't add one in? As great as the community is here in Warframe compared to other games - I'd much rather get pointed to an official response rather than having to sift through thousands of posts from non-DE employees about why they think an AH would be a bad thing. I've heard on some of the developer interviews that one of the issues with Warframe is that the "plot" doesn't really kick in until about 80 hours in. Where exactly does this happen? Is it a particular quest/planet? I've recently gotten to Saturn and I'm not sure if I'm at that "80 hour" mark, or if that mark is still ahead of me. Kylo.
1. Vault Runs probably. 3. Second Dream, around Uranus.
DeadVoid118
1. There isn't really a 'best' way, just a matter of preference depending on your play style, current equipment, and willingness to farm. For a new player, the best method is probably to run certain spy missions to get certain mods that sell for 10+ platinum. Certain spy missions will give dual-stat mods (the +60% elemental damage, +60% status chance kind) that will sell for a good sum. Tier 2 (Between levels 15-25) Spy missions will have a chance to give Scattering Inferno and Rime Rounds, both of which sell for decent amounts of platinum. You can also farm prime junk and sell that, though rates for prime junk are somewhat variable. Additionally, there are Orokin vaults you can farm in the derelict, but it's hard to do this solo as a noob and depends on luck to get a party in recruiting chat. 2. As far as I am aware, there is no official response to auction houses. Frankly speaking, I would assume DE simply doesn't want to focus on trading since it's far more serviceable than other bits. 3. If you just go through your quests in the Codex, you'll get there.
midtarget
Gold=/= good quality The in game rarity doesn't matter, its the actual accessibility of the mod, usually, people are willing to buy Acolyte mods from the Acolyte events, or the vault mods from orokin vaults, sell those instead of any gold mod. Then try warframe.market to sell stuff, but realistically selling it as prime junk will probably be a lot faster but you get very little. Good luck, Tenno. Birdframe_Prime
1 hour ago, Thorxes510 said: What's the best way for a new player to make platinum Over time Plat is most reliably found in small amounts from Prime Parts. Just crack open every Relic you find, and look up the going price on Warframe.Market (just put that into Google, it's there). Pitch at a reasonable amount, even if it's just four or five Plat, and you can gain enough for a new slot in only a short while of concentrated farm and then waiting for people interested in the sale. A good tip for that is to wait for the Void Trader icon to appear in the map, farm up any random parts and advertise as packs of five or six junk Prime parts for 20-30 Plat. People will buy them to have parts to trade for Ducats to the Trader. 1 hour ago, Thorxes510 said: Can someone please link an OFFICIAL DE RESPONSE outlining THEIR reasons why they won't add one in? Fun fact; DE don't give reasons for not including things like this. There have been brief, few-second mentions on the house-cleaning sections of the DevStreams (that I'm certainly not invested enough to go back into) that will say something like 'Oh, this person asks about a better trading system, but we aren't looking into that at this time'. And that's the most in depth we ever get. Same with a lot of other things players have asked for enough to get attention but they don't want to implement. DE don't have to give a reason. 1 hour ago, Thorxes510 said: I've heard on some of the developer interviews that one of the issues with Warframe is that the "plot" doesn't really kick in until about 80 hours in The official Plot of Warframe starts with the Quest that you get from the Phobos Junction (the one you have to finish on Mars to unlock Phobos). You then follow that with Natah and then The Second Dream. Do not look these up ahead of time, though, I really recommend that you don't spoil this one for yourself if you're enjoying Warframe. I will give you a hint, however, and it's that starting Natah is not actually obvious at first. You will find a new 'enemy' on Uranus and you should (as you should do with every new enemy) scan it. That starts the Natah Quest and The Second Dream, which is the real kicker for the Plot, will start after you finish the Junction on Uranus to unlock Neptune. Have fun! SamMitter
1) for the first part, the way to go is playing fissure missions, get the prime parts, and sell...with a bit of time investment you can earn a sizeable amount. In my case,i earned about 500 in less than 2 mnths. As for mods, some corrupted mods from orokin derelict, can sell for a couple of tens of plats 2)oh how i wish to have a auction house/trading house. It could have lessen the time to a mnth or even less for me to earn 500plats. But there are many arguments against it,it seems, and most of all DE doesn't want it. So,you can only cross your fingers. 3)as of the last part, main story line quests are second dream, war within, and in some sense sacrifice too. Also there is the next part, the new war is coming. As for the time limit, you can obviously rush,or slow thing down as you wish. Btw,welcome tenno☺️
