Add cooldown for leaving groups in PoE?

I don't know if it's just me, but I find it super-annoying if I go to the Plains of Eidolon and forget I'm set to public. Faster than I can click on the button, it tosses me into a full group and sends me off. Once I'm there, I basically have to exit back to my orbiter, because leaving the group just causes me to - once again - get tossed into a new group faster than I can click the group settings button, and starts the whole thing over again.

Maybe add a small cooldown to re-grouping immediately after leaving a group? Even just 5 seconds so we have a moment to change our group settings before it fires us into a group again? Or maybe a confirmation box asking if you want to join another group since you just left a group?
