1 mil credits when killing profittaker with chroma this weekend*

Question

When you are killing the profit taker this weekend and you have a Chroma in your team of if you Chroma solo..

Don't forget to use your effigy skill (number 4 skill) right before the Orb mother goes down in the last phase.. This will double up your credits.

You can earn 1 mil credits every time you kill the orb.*

 

* = when using a credit booster

But yes..you are right..  this weekend is not that explicitly important.

You should use it any time you kill the profit taker to double up your credits

But yes..you are right..  this weekend is not that explicitly important.

It'll double credit pickups..

As the credits drop all at once at the end of the profittaker, basically you'll need just the effigy then when picking up the credits to get an instant double credit boost ( it needs to be in range of the credits though!)

no its not a double credit weekend.. its double credits and resources on the VALLIS

 

So without credit booster it will be 500K per run

 

Here is the math:

No boosters: no double credit/resource weekend

KIlling profit taker pickup 62.5k credits `With effigy: 125k credits

When entering Fortuna after mission it doubles   250k credits

 

With regular credit booster: no double credit/resource weekend

KIlling profit taker pickup 125k credits `with effigy 250K

When entering Fortuna after mission it doubles   500k credits

 

With regular credit booster: WITH  double credit/resource weekend

KIlling profit taker pickup 125k credits`  With effigy 250k credits

When entering Fortuna after mission it doubles twice 1 mil credits (because the double credits/resources on the vallis)

I'm aware that it's double credits on the Vallis only (it's part of the reward for getting Fissures under control) but I think you're getting something wrong. I've never done the whole Chroma Pelt thing, never heard anyone mentioning it and still got 500k credits per-run last time the Vallis had double-credits. So dropping his 4 sounds kinda pointless.

it's another source of double that you otherwise can't get that stacks with everything else in the game, for Credits that drop as Pickups(which for some reason Profit Taker Drops the Credits in two packages as Pickups rather than as a Mission Completion Reward like you would expect but shrug). getting the timing and placement just right can be a bit tricky/not always consistent, but you'd still definitely get it atleast most of the time.

not being aware of it, doesnt mean its not working..

Assumptions? All I'm saying is that your maths sounds fragged. If I was already getting 500k with only the Vallis Boost, then it should follow that 2 mil is the expected return from using pelt and regular booster on top of that - something your post denied.

Not really, the math here is good .. as the effigy only doubles drops picked up..

the double resources and credits get calculated when getting back to fortuna..

 

You might have other items running or the double credit weekend might have been active -separate from the vallis loot and credit boosts -

Also you might have used other option to gain more credits like oberon or the smeeta or a chroma in your team that used effigy

The kavat as Thunderz mentions might get you that boost as well, but thats more based of timing and luck of the charm RNG

The math in Thunderz's case does make sense, yours doesn't. 

Vallis Cred Booster + Regular booster = 1mil credits

Vallis Cred Booster + Regular booster + Pelt = 2mil credits

This accounts for the 1-2mil per-run average, if pelt placement is as important as described in this thread.

Vallis Cred Booster + Regular booster + Pelt + Smeeta = 4mil

So, the one time he managed to proc his Kavat is the one time he came out with a massive haul. If the math worked the way you describe, 2 mil would be the maximum possible, even with a lucky Smeeta buff. 

Either way, I've no plans to use this exploit. Getting banhammered for a glitched credit farm, when I can already haul out 1mil per-run (despite your insistence to the Pelt-necessity for that) isn't worth it.

obvious you assuming things and not calculating or researching the math for yourself.. Or the consideration of exploits.

It seems like you blindly state math from others for true  or gather information like thunders without checking the data on it.

 

Concerning what you assume to be an exploit  (as taken for true after Bl1te posted)  here's the debunk..

 

Enemies killed by the sentry have a 15% / 30% / 45% / 60% chance to drop additional credits.

  • All Credits that drop within 10 meters of the sentry yield 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% additional credits.
    • The range is not affected by mods.
  • Technically increases credits income by 3.75% / 15% / 33.75% / 60% while the Sentry is active.
  • Credit chance and credit bonus are not affected by Ability Strength.
