Detecting keypresses in Warframe

Hi there,

I have this idea but I'm not sure if it's allowed in Warframe.

I'm thinking of making an overlay for Warframe which will allow you to see the duration on your individual abilities (ex. see the duration for each of volt's shields instead of only the duration of the shield you placed last).

I plan on using a low level keyboard hook to capture keypresses before they are even seen by the game to start a timer, but I'm not sure if Warframe will tolerate this external program looking at keypresses.

Even if someone from us had any information on that, how would that help in any way, shape or form?
We are players like you. If you were to get banned for that, it's not about our opinion on that. It's about DE and what they are saying. The best idea would be to contact support. But then again even they probably wouldn't help you, because this isn't an important matter...

You should contact support.. Though I would recommend doing it after Tennocon.. Even tho this is not really a bug, but they can probably give a more definitive answer.

well if someone has been banned for this before, I know that I probably shouldn't try doing the same. I know that contacting support will take a while, which is why I asked in the forums first because the replies here are quicker.

What if someone was banned? Each case is different.
