Plague Keewar link/grip?

Question

Heyo, so I just 'sniped' a fairly decent Riven for the low off of trade chat for the Keewar, and I figured I'd try the weapon out. I wanna do a hybrid build like I did for my Kripath, which has 18% CC and 25% SC using the Bokwin grip and the Ekwana Jai II link, but the closest you can get to that with the Keewar is 18% CC and 22% SC with the no negative links, like the Jai II and Ruhang II.

So, my question would be, is it still worth it to go for a hybrid build with 18% CC and 22%SC, or should I just take something like the Ekwana Jai II link, and do it with 29% SC and 14% CC? I read somewhere that anything below 14% CC isn't viable for a Blood Rush hybrid build, but that you'd ideally want 18%+, and that 19% SC is the *minimum*, but preferably should be ~24%+ for a hybrid build, but I've no clue how accurate this information is.

Just in case it matters, my friends and I frequently go an hour+ into arbitrations, so I'd atleast like to think getting the minmaxed version is gonna matter when we frequently go that far.

This also depends on what kind of riven stats you end up getting, but I personally would go for Bokwin and a link that gives slightly higher CC than Status.. so something like a 22cc/18 status? Basically Hybrid build but leaning slightly towards crit. Because you can use 60/60 elemental mods and can increase status sufficiently for Condition Overload. And you're gonna put on Drifting Contact for ramping up Blood Rush so that will further increase status.

For my plague keewar I have 100% status chance with a riven thats around 70-80% and use condition overload for most of the dps while 100% is overkill to have on a melee you would do fine if you were to go above 70% as long as you have good swinging speed, but the way I use my keewar with healing return so I can go in hoard no issue so I have support while killing, I suggest looking at blood rush cc table if you looking for a crit+status build so you know what combo multiplier you need to reach definite crits, that can be found here

It depends on what you ultimately end up rolling on your riven. If you roll a riven with status chance, you won't need that high base status chance. I personally went for full crit with my Kripath and even though my status chance is only 22.3% fully modded on my weapon, Condition Overload gives me enormous damage while also being able to red crit with minimal combo multipliers because of the base 36% crit chance.

You can also make multiple Zaws, because they are so incredibly cheap to craft. If you roll a riven with some really general stats like damage, attack speed, range, combo duration or elemental damage types of your choice, ANY melee weapon will benefit from those so it doesn't matter if it is crit or status based. I have both crit and status polearm kripaths and also a kripath rapier. That 1 riven fits all 3 of those weapons 😛
