Vauban rework

Concept- Anti corpus engineer as deadly as he is efficient, Vauban stalks the enemies until the time is right to strike and unleash his full fury upon those consumed with greed.

Passive:

Vauban’s aura grants allies an additional 5% efficiency while in affinity range. When no one is within range Vauban gains 10% additional efficiency. 

Or

Vauban has an internal reactor that generates .6 energy/second that is active when abilities are not in use.

Or

Vauban is able to equip two sentinels/robotic companions at one time (Potentially create a Vauban exclusive sentinel or MOA)

1st Ability: Phase Shift- Active Camouflage, Vauban cloaks himself in an aura that conceals him from his opponents. 

·         Camouflage won’t be broken until energy is depleted, alarming noise is weapon used, sprinting, bullet jumping, sliding, rolling, using another ability or is deactivated.

·         Makes Vauban un-targetable but enemies will attack the last known area if alerted.

·         Does not make Vauban silent

·         Movement speed is limited to Vauban’s non sprinting speed

·         Efficiency will reduce the energy drain.

2nd Ability: Bastille - Vauban locks down an area of effect, enemies caught in the range of bastille have shields and armor depleted adding to Vauban and his squads over shields.  Enemies outside of bastille cannot enter the containment field.  

Duration 8/10/12/15s

Range 5/10/15/20 m

3rdAbility: EMP Overload - Vauban instantly depletes all shield/over shields to deplete all enemy shields and causes them to not regenerate for length of duration. If an enemy type is armored the EMP wave locks them down in place for duration. If over shields are used during EMP Overload Vauban’s Shields recharge rate is increased by 90%.

Duration 15/20/25/30s

Range 15/20/25/30 m

4th Ability: Tesla Hammer – Exalted hammer, electric base damage.  Two tesla coils spring from Vauban’s back that will spark and damage enemies with elemental damage based on what the hammer is modded for.  The slam attack on the hammer has 50% chance to proc an electric stun in a 5 meter radius. Can be used with Aberration but slam attacks will break cloak.

His current passive is already good, its essentiell an universal faction mod which means it will dip multiple times in slash and gas formula, I would leave it be.

Basically a worse copy of ivaras prowl, no thank you. I'd rather have something special like a riot shield than another invisibility ability, especially if it slows you down.

Bastille is already a very strong ability, I dont think it needs a debuff since with his current passive it already gives him a dmg buff. Rather I would combine vortex and bastille into one ability, which you then can swap between like ivara does with her arrows.

Vauban doesnt need more CC, he can already lock a room down with bastille, this would just be redundant.

Vauban is a squishy frame and even though with your focus on shields in this rework wouldnt really help him much. I much rather have a turret / military SUV which is automated but allows vauban to take control and fire himself.

Health and shields dont scale like that, aside from inaros and maybe nidus every frame has a 3x health and shield multiplier at lvl 30.

 

To be honest with you this rework suggestion wouldnt really fix much if his problem, which is that he slows down most mission types and doesnt really offer anything else besides CC. In addition his gameplay requires you not to move much, which aside from endurance runs isnt really practical.
