I feel weak on level 100 sortie

I'm MR 13 and I was doing the sortie today and I struggled to kill the nox, doing 250 damage per shot with my opticor vandal, I was wondering if you guys have builds or tips on why I'm doing so little damage

Are you aiming for the head?  Shooting its helmet and breaking the glass lowers it's damage reduction.

well, nox has crazy damage resist everywhere but his face,

on that note, 250 damage seems low, what mods are you using?

You have to shoot the nox in the face otherwise they take forever to die...opticor build looks fine.

This !!!!

Noxes have ALOT of Damage Reduction if you don't smash the glass open.

Oh wow... that is alot of Madurai Polarities.... 

I think I would have been better to add a Naramon Polarity where Point Strike is....

Always check the sortie conditions.   Lvl100 enemy, so that means sortie 3.

Today's sortie 3 has Augmented Enemy Armor.  So these lvl100 grineer have twice as much armor as they normally would at that level. That's some serious damage reduction.
The effect of Corrosive Projection aura is halved as well for this sortie condition.

It's a mobile defense mission, so there are 2 ways to tackle this efficiently.  You either CC the enemy and not bother by killing them by just keeping them away from the console (Vauban bastille, sleep abilities, Gara vitrifiy, etc) or come with the means to tear down or bypass that high armor. (abilities that enable and enhance finishers, nova MP, Banshee sonar, very high status corrosive weapons, etc etc).

Nox is a very strong enemy. It will take several shots to kill him even with top build meta weapons.

This is so very true.  They have so much damage reduction that even Stealth Melee Finisher will not kill a lvl 30-40 Nox.  Short of using a Covert Lethality Dagger it's not even worth the trouble to try and stealth kill them using regular melee now matter how powerful it is.  

Having said that, I still love the Nox as an enemy.  I love it even more when I hear their death scream.

LoL.... oof... I've had many Stealth attempts ruined exclusively by this.... I can't wait to get my Dagger...
