Serenity_Naomi
To start I want to apologise to all the players that are matchmaking connected to me. I have terrible connection and no way to fix it (government monopoly on internet in my country), and if i want to play with other people WF forces me to host. I'm not able to connect to existing game matches and in order for personal invites to work i have to enable VPN(for trading or premade squads) which further increases latency up to unplayable. So only way for me to enjoy the multiplayer aspect of the game is to just hit play and wait in mission for other people to join me, which i only do for boss fights (plague/exploiter/profittaker) and relic runs. I was wondering if there is a way to force WF to put me in to a random squad and disable autohosting, so other people wouldn't suffer from high latency, only me? Dhrekr
There is no way to force disable hosting. If you are in a lobby and you launch the match, the game "should" theoretically transfer the host to someone better. However, it is obvious that if you are opening the match in the lobby, you are already not the host.
Serenity_Naomi
I wish they'd add that function, even tho default allowed latency is set for 300 for most people, it still allows them to connect to me. And judging by their reactions its way over 600+
Draegan
@Serenity_Naomi : Look into the option - gameplay - PC type - select : Laptop (Not autodetect nor Desktop) This will favor being a client and not an host

Draegan
You did all you could do then :/ I appreciate the fact that you try to prevent hosting with a bad connection, you're most welcome for that, Tenno :)
