Profane Names

The naming censorship filter is ridiculous, still. The first time I ran into it it prevented my amp from being names "223" because who friggn knows. Today I tried to name my Zaw "Hive of Scum & Villany." What is profane about that?

1. Why the Players Helping Players section? Do you want us to help you get over something so minor?

2. Why does it matter? Will you quit over something like that?

3. I bet your first "problem" wasn't because of the "223" part.

"223" was the entire name. Save your wager. I didn't pay attention to where I put it so you win on that count. I took the "u" out of Scum. Ludicrous

That complaint sounds like a non-existent problem. Maybe try to find a more adult/mature name for your amp.

And I can understand your can't NAME a weapon with only numbers. In that case that's not a name, that's an identification number.

Try to be more inspired and you won't have this problem ever.

In the end names are equally nothing more than an identification code, so why should it matter if he uses numbers or names it bbc or flying broomstick, makes no difference.

Yeah naming restrictions in games are usually like this. But if you think this is ridiculous then you should see the chat restrictions on GTAO.

Maybe OP's examples are not the best. I've tried naming zaw that uses Balla part "Balla Zaw" and the game has told me it's profanity. The word 'BALL' is profanity. Poor Ballas.

But depending on the way the game operates it could make a difference.
The filter has to be set up. There is someone putting stuff into the filter. They won't put a number in there unless there is a good reason for it.

Get over it. Yes, the filter is silly and too restrictive. Live with it.

I've successfully named two my Amps as "222" and "333". Nothing went wrong.

OP's problem with naming Amp as "223" seems like a bug then.

Remove the first letter from the third word and that is the reason .

I still managed to call mine "Rod of spanking" so yeah that filter sometimes does not do its work properly either ^.^
