Can Inaros gain shields?

Basically the question above. I'm bout to get Inaros and I currently have a Taxon sentinel, so I'm wondering how effective they'll be together and if the Taxon can give Inaros shields. As that determines what companion I'll use with him. So can he gain shields from it? Can he gain shields at all from anything in the game? Would Redirection give him shields or would it be useless?

Nope. Inaros can't get shields.

Redirection does nothing, the only thing that can give Inaros shields is one of the smeeta abilities but shields are pretty much useless anyway.

if you get a shield bot specter you can give inaros 200 shields. personally i'd recommend getting a kubro or kavat for his companion.. since pet cards that add HP/armor/shields are based on the warframe you can get a pet that has a lot of health and a decent amount of armor.

Yeah I already have a kubrow, I just haven't used it much, but I will now. I have some decent beast mods too that rely on links between the warframe and the kubrow, so I'll be good.

Yes and No. 

Inaros cant get shields but he can receive over shields which is odd.

Had the oversheild thing happen to me when someone had a shield charger mod on a sentinel in the party and it charged it me

So shield charger with sentinel still works and Harrow as well but its not worth it to build for those.

inaros have lifesteal ability so you don't really need something like shield  regeneration  etc

As mentioned by the others, you can get some shields for him using the shield osprey specter but it's a tiny amount not worth bothering about. Anyway shields are terrible on most warframes since they don't scale and are unaffected by armor so above a certain level (30 or so) enemies can take them down before you can say "shield".

For inaros all you need to build for is hp and armor. That will serve you better than any shield you can add. Add umbral mods plus adaptation if you can get/afford it, and perhaps handspring to deal with knock downs. Use his 1 and 2 to regen hp whenever needed and you will be an unkillable tank for most content up to sortie level.

Yes it can and only in 1 condition

If someone of yr squad puts the shield ospray inaros will get only 200 shield.

Once he is away from it, he will loose it

we should make a petition to DE to skip priming Atlas and prime Inaros instead !

i mean cmon, the 22 atlas users wont stand against us thousands of inaros worshipers
