Mission mods

Would it be possible to have mods that effect entire missions and possible reward pools? Cause Warframe is kind of in an endgame lull and I was thinking that it would be interesting if we could have something like mods that can be applied by the host to add challenge to missions and raise drops and other things. So like if you do a tridolon for example you could have mods that do things like drain health or energy, or make enemies eximus units. Just something that modifies the mission.
