Gladiator Mods and Primary weapons

It's unclear to me how the gladiator mod set works. If I have a 2x combo on my weapon, does that mean the crit chance is doubled? Does it only work when you have a melee equiped with the counter on? Was hoping to use this mod set for something serious.

(I don't have access to the simulacrum yet. How in the world do you please someone who keeps turning off an ability that's keeping you alive? I'm not that good.)

Only apply to melee

Set Bonus: +15%/+30%/+45%/+60%/+75%/+90% critical chance, stacks with Melee Combo Multiplier, meaning if you have 1 mod you will get 15% of your crit chance x combo multiplier add to your weapon crit chance, 2 mod = 30% x combo etc.

Melee and Exalted melee weapons too (aka Wukongs Iron Staff, Valkyrs Claws, Excaliburs Blade....)

No sorry it's disabled on exalted weapons like blood rush mod is.

• While officially Set Mod bonuses do not affect Exalted Weapons (with the exception of the Sacrificial Mod Set), the Gladiator Mod Set can still apply if equipped on Melee or Robotic Weapons (i.e. Helios/Helios Prime's  Deconstructor/ Deconstructor Prime), and not on the Exalted Weapon itself.

Well, that's kinda a weird mechanic but in most of the cases it won't work so you need to be more precise when you say it works because in fact not really ^^

Anyway that a thing that could be changed in the future since i'm not sure DE wanted this to work like this.

I am not really sure if you are ignorant or try to desperately defend yourself, the gladiator set works, worked, and seems will continue to work because its not something new....
