New Wukong rework breaks utility for Nidus and a few other frames.

The new Doppelganger for Wukong is crippling Nidus and other frames such as Harrow. His doppelganger makes a B-Line straight for my Larva immediately and it's impossible to get mutagen stacks. Is there anything that can be done to fix this? It's not as bad with communication with a team but with randoms it's impossible to get mutagen stacks with my first ability with his doppelganger killing everything in larva immediately

This reeks of hyperbole to be honest with you.

The clone isn't that effective, the only way I can see this happening is.

A) Casting Larva too close to it, as in on top of it.

B) Taking far too long to follow up with your #1.

The clone absolutely does not run around leaving a trail of destruction in it's wake, with everything dropping as soon as it enters the clone's LoS. It reloads, it moves, it has to target an enemy and will regularly waste time targeting enemies behind walls.

You have so many instances in which the clone isn't actually killing anything at all that there is no logical basis for claiming that it "cripples" Nidus and renders it impossible for you to get stacks.

Wouldn't the better change simply be to change Nidus so that he doesn't need to hoard Larva-trapped enemies in order to increase his Mutagen? For example, if Larva generated Mutagen stacks anytime an enemy trapped inside it got killed, people wouldn't have to constantly play around a frame that doesn't actually play that well with his team. Wukong isn't the only problem with Nidus, and more generally the problem is that frames like him are designed with very short-sighted, almost singleplayer- or MOBA-like last-hit conditions, where the only way to access power is to personally get kills, causing ally kills to mess up one's gameplay. Nidus, Harrow, and so on need to have those rules changed so that they work with, not against teammates, and at that point Wukong shouldn't be a problem.

I wouldn't worry too much about Harrow.  If an AI is killing the enemies too fast for him then the team doesn't need Harrow's buffs.

I mean, the whole fun of Harrow is being a kill stealing jerk in the name of buffing yourself and the team.  If that isn't possible then just be a parkouring gun turret and don't worry about it.
