Only first ability will cast, no matter what button i press

This has been going on for a bit now. When I press the ability menu button, no matter what ability i select it usually will only try to cast the frames first ability (max rank frames, all of them). Occasionally, if i spam the ability button, it will eventually cast the right one. However, at that point every ability button will now cast THAT ability (including transference). The ability menu button (right bumper) works just fine at every other point in the game (selecting tabs, etc.) and works fine in other games as well. I tried reinstalling the game and the problem still persists. Please help!

Long standing issue that hasn't been fixed.

If you are not there host and do transferrence once, you will often get stuck in a state where it behaves as if the bumper button is held.

A general work around I've found works most of the time is to always do transference twice at the immediate start of the mission. Ie go to tenno form two times (i guess technically you are doing transferrence four times)

It's like a second habit now. Not only it prevent that problem, but you also can check your latency with it (more like how long it take to transference in and out.)

The other way is trying to jump in to the pit / water / cliff. Not always works, but it worth a shot.
