How Do Continuous Weapons Works?

the general consensus as far as i've seen:

Flux does 200DPS - 10dmg per 'ammo'. meaning 20 ammo per second. (remember stats like say, Accuracy are pretty much irrelevant, so i'm not completely going to trust the ROF stat either). 

 

unless somethings' changed since U10, atleast. but i don't think this was touched.

It's 10 ammo per second and yes, 200 damage per second ~20 damage per "bullet" base.

Yep, this.

 

The "Damage" value is its base DPS. The "fire rate" is how much ammo is used per second. I believe that each "tick" of damage is the (Damage Per Second) / (Ammo Used Per Second)-- basically a visual representation of what the "Damage Per Bullet" would be if it used a bullet system.
