Tuxu_Holyland
Dear DE, This one is kind of a weird one, I was having my 3D printer[aka home Foundry ;)] to do some stuff for work via a pc USB connection and fired up WF launcher via steam. The moment the app started to run it halted my 3D printer for a moment, then everything continued as normal. This on its own didn't cause any harm however since the print was simple enough this time however in many other cases I'm running a very complicated G-codes that are time based and such a USB halt might set back hours of printer time. Is the launcher suppose to do that? Please, see that it doesn't since I wouldn't want to think twice before launching Warframe. Thanks and keep up the good work! Hobie-wan
I don't have a 3d printer, but when I launch Steam I have something similar happen. If 2nd, 3rd, or 4th hard drives (mechanical - media storage and such) have gone to sleep because I haven't accessed them in an hour, Steam will check them and Windows will more or less halt for a moment until they spin up and come to life. I'm pretty sure my mouse stops moving for a moment as well, so that'd be the USB also being halted. Perhaps the launcher is doing something similar to your machine for a moment.
