IronScyde
Could a "remember password" check box be added to the login screen just to speed up the process? That or allow cut & paste function; I use a password manager to keep track of randomly generated 16 character pass's so this word help alot! Thanks and really loving the game, Iron
BattleMage
I totally agree that it should be possible to paste passwords to the login screen. It's much securer to have a unique random password per game than having one easy to type password for all games. But having to type it everytime is annoying. [DE]Glen
Paste will work in Update 7. I hope your password managers clear your clipboard...

Magos
Could we get an update on this? Paste support is something I'd really like to have as well, and the current post-U7 launcher doesn't have it on my Windows 7 rig.
[DE]Glen
Paste works in both the launcher and in game with control+v; what are you pressing?
Magos
That's pretty odd, then. My process here: I open the updater and download updates if any, then press Play. This brings up the login screen. I go to KeePass (http://keepass.info/) and copy my password into my Windows clipboard. I go back to the login screen, select the Password field and press Ctrl+V. Nothing happens, and the Password field remains empty. I paste with Ctrl+V into a different program such as Notepad, and my password appears. I then try KeePass' autotype functionality (which Alt+Tabs to the login screen then sends simulated keypress events) and nothing happens. Then I end up opening the entry so I can see my password and copying it out by typing, which does work. (The email textfield also does not respond to any of these methods for me, BTW) On the off chance it helps, I put up a pastebin of my dxdiag at http://pastebin.com/GeMDwX3R Edited March 19, 2013 by Magos
[DE]Glen
I see the problem -- sorry about that (this got broken for certain text fields including, of course, the login fields). Should work after next hot-fix.
