Anything for Solo players in the next update?

Everything I've seen in the stream so far looks team oriented.

EDIT ~

Enlist a four-player crew to hijack, scavenge and sabotage across the Origin System.
Contact ground teams for support, steal enemy ships, explore ancient ruins, assassinate kingpins and get rewarded for your missions into deep space.

Hopefully the crew doesn't have to be other players. "four-player crew" (it does?)
Maybe Maroo, Clem and some other NPC can join the mission?

They've said you can play Railjack Solo, with AI manning the guns. At the end of the day though, this is a co-operative focused game.

I suppose the Squad Link doesn't count since you're not directly interacting.

I'll take that as a no.

1: they had 3 players in the team so a team of 4 is not mandatory. 4-players is likely the max.

2: Steve literally called out solo clans, so solo players are at least kept in mind.

They were quite clear about the ability to hire NPCs to fill ship roles. I'm a pretty militant solo player and I'm happy to believe that DE have considered that they have a lot of solo players.

If there are specific issues with solo play, I'll address those as-and-when they happen.

The stream was pretty laggy, so I missed a lot of what they said.
Glad to hear that you can have NPC crew, wonder if you can have Clem or Maroo?
Maybe From the Syndicates? Or make your own?

My experience with all the Syndicate missions is that those NPCs are better off left at the mission start or dead as soon as possible.  Otherwise they just get in the way or screw up my stealth.

I mean like each Syndicate would have hire-able Crew-members, like Steel Meridian would have Clem.

So cooperative they removed "challenges"  that required team play to be completed. This is not a co operative focused game. You want proof? Everything that can be done in party can be soloed too and, unless you are going for tridolons, you can even do it easily.

The only actual co op was in the raids so, until we get them back, it is pretty safe to bet that team play is a feature.

it seems we'll be able to hire and maintain a crew. given WF will remain p2p (i.e. rip from host migration), I will play Railjack solo. And I think it will be really fun (perhaps something like Mass Effect, with less character development?). imo Railjack looks like a soloer's dream.

I'll be honest guys, I don't think WF is a good coop game to begin with. P2p complications are just the cherry on top, and imo Railjack will be a technical disaster, especially when being hosted by someone's potato from Brazil or Australia. hard pass on the coop part, as long as p2p is around.

The stream specifically had a Solaris engineer and I saw some Perrin-style headpieces on some of the crew.

Let's hope they aren't their just for decoration, and can actually pilot the ship/fire it's guns when you aren't in it,
and help fight boarding parties.

They were not just for decoration, Them taking over stations in place of Tenno was their reason for existance.
