Garuda Blood Altar

After having used Garuda for quite awhile, her Blood Altar should have a way-point so players can find it easier, and know when it goes up. Having to mark yourself makes it encumbersome, and each player does only have 1 wp they can put down.

What about players that don't have it in their line of sight. Such as in Survival, open world maps, or any game-mode where players are wandering around and not defending something static?

Wisp already has map markers for her motes, so why shouldn't Garuda? They both lay something down on the field that affects players, so it would make sense that Wisp's map markers shouldn't be exclusive to her.

Wisps Reservoirs are permanent unlike blood altars.

Also, if a squad mate chooses to run off and do their own thing in a mission, their life is their responsibility. If they die due to poor health management, that’s on them.

Would be nice to buff Blood alter a bit, I don't know about anyone else, but every single time that I play Garuda and there's a Wisp, I just kinda feel reeeaaally inferior, at least in regards to helpfulness with Blood Alter vs Vitality Mote

Her burst healing can be much better than wisps sustained heal in some situations. Generally for frames with a least a little bit of armor and extra HP. But at the same time, garuda + wisp is broken with the amount of healing you can perform.

Thing is, not everyone has that mindset of the "selfish buffer" as I like to call it, players who choose Support Frames
may actually find it rewarding to keep the Squad healthy / well-protected, rather than go, "well F those idiots then" 😛

I'm sure a debate between Motes and Blood Altars would be a fun one, I was just trying to see if enough players could support this change so Blood Altar could have a Way-point and/or a map marker so it would be easier to find in case players wander too far to see that circle around it.

You may have a point, but not all players want a static healing point on the map. Given how it can't move around, there should be something to help players find it in case they do need it, instead of a screw you for leaving the altar for that helps keep them alive. Sure Motes and Renewal stay on the player, but their static heal amount can be overwhelmed by enemy damage. Not all players will have them setup in an obvious place, which will make it a chore to find them. All in all, Blood Altar should have a way-point or map marker so it could be easier to find.

It wouldn't bother me if they added the marker, it doesn't hurt anything.

But it's also a good point that just because you can run far away from allies in big maps doesn't mean you should. You're actually better off sticking together in most mission types, especially if there is a risk of you bleeding out. If you're out of range of the altar you likely won't get back to it in time to save yourself if it is actually needed. It's not indefinite duration like reservoirs. And, though it may be useful to allies, I'm positive that the markers for reservoirs on the map is for the benefit of Wisp herself, since she has the another ability to interact with them that requires knowing where they are for you to directly target them. That information is useless to Garuda with her altar.

No one plays garuda so were safe for a while.

The thing about Garuda’s Heal is it works better for Allies, Companions, Pets, and Specters with more Health than her since it heal by % of missing Health. Near 50% or higher healing from a Garuda + a Arbitration Operative = very fast healing. So DE would most likely not nerf it so the Ability would still work for Garuda’s 3 well.
