Difficult to say 'best', but in terms of auto-rifles, I'm quite partial to Battacor, Scourge and Telos Boltor.

All the Assault Rifle class weapons kinda fall short compared to other types though I do have a soft spot for Supra Vandal.

They just get outclassed hard by Beam weapons which also don't have recoil or bullet deviation. They need a buff. Fulmin is in the class of Assault rifles but the auto fire is pretty lack luster the primary shotgun mode is better. If I had to pick I'd prolly go Stradavar Prime, Soma Prime, Tenora or Baza.

Heavy Blades are easy. Gram Prime. Period. If you mean all 2handers then Hammer: Volnus, Polearm: Zaw, Staff: Zaw / Tipedo Prme.

Tiberon Prime (burst fire mode), Fulmin, Stradavar Prime and Supra Vandal are some of the best auto trigger assault rifles in the game. And theyre also some of the most powerful weapons in the game overall. Sure, AoE weapons rule the top of the chart because this game has a lot of situations where enemies just swarm. But the ones I mentioned fair really well if you build them right.

For heavy blades, the best is Dokhram zaw. Followed by Gram Prime and Paracesis. Gram Prime is better of the two if you have a riven for it.
