Tenncon New Trailer Analysis

Well from what I can tell, we are going to have to acquire these purple flowers that have the ability to turn Frames into Umbral's. Hence the "The New War" to be able to have abilities to stack against Sentient's that build resilience to all damage types. Duviri Trailer show that the operators will have have the ability to fight along side your Tenno's. If this is anything close to what both trailers depict, Wukong will be great since he can already have another Twin running around. lol

Where did you get the Umbral Idea? They seemed like Normal Starter Frames to me.

Where was this said? Additionally, we already have things that do that. Amps reset Sentient Resilience, Sacrifical Mods give a damage buff against sentients, and Paracesis just shreds them.

That's not exactly what that could mean. There was no showing that the Operator was able to fight with his Warframe at any point, it seems more to me that in this "Duviri" transference back into a Warframe is blocked thus requiring Tenno to fight in their operator form.

Wukong makes a Twin of Himself. Not the Operator. They are separate.

Think you need to be a bit more clear.

... what?

DE will rework Warframe's prologue to make it more appealing to new players. This cinematic is the new intro.

Tenno = Operator. Tenno =/= Warframe.

Purple Lotus flower. No one know for sure right now untill it comes out. Just thinking outside the box. I dont know anyone who isnt making their own creative idea's right now. And yes it is sentient. Do you think DE will not make buffs to them or just let them be as they have always been in the game already? Unless if this is only a trailer that has no relevance to the game. Who ever said the twin is an operator. Im saying Wukong already had his twin running around so if you can make him an Umbral their would be two instead of one running around. lol

"Together they fought back. Bringing an end the an empire. Then they left. Forgotten. Like a Dream. Wake up Tenno, Wake up."

Just from the words in the clip. It seem to indicate the first war had already been completed and the Tenno's were victorious. Therefore they were not needed any longer.

All the action clips were just a flashback memory on Cetus of when the operator had been in those Tenno frame bodies. Now there is a new threat, Lotus has called apon the old Tenno's to get ready for the next wave of invasion, the Sentient God's. Even the grineer's reactions were surprising that the vacant frames were going to be resurrected without Vor technology from the old opening cinematic.

Also, the input of the operator in the clip already spoiled the Second Dream that all players sworn not to speak about to new comers. This clip show the beginning to the beginning of the "New War." Well this is what I interpreted after seeing how all the clips worked into each other. I love to twist and plot idea's that are never answered. If the operator is in the first clip does that mean they are taking the second dream out of the quest? Of maybe the story will be different in general now. Who knows?

If it does. I will play it just to see what they have change in the story quests.

The operator has been spoiled for a loooong time. From your first co-op mission to DE advertising expansions and prime access with operator gear. Even the current infested operator suit in nightwave.

This new tutorial intro is about moving new players into 2019. As a story that develops in real time like a MMO. The old content so out of place to the current narrative. Something had to be done to get people up to speed faster.

There is a lot of missing explanations without the tutorial mission there afterward telling the player what just happened.

They can make the tutorial be played as this "possibly" Tenno girl, who takes revenge on the grineer. In the end she saves and wakes you, the players frame up. And you switch to your new point of view and she becomes a npc. Your character still has amnesia this way, you have Vors leg thing. And you have to help your avatar find out who and what they are while you the viewer already have inside knowledge. Vors quest intro might be abandoned, but being recovered with a device already on you sets up the second half of Vors prize.

But there are numerable ways to preserve the current quest progression while telling the player more.

I'm kind of excited how the new experience will be like and if it works to keep new players in.

Did I just see and hear this correctly? My predictions were pretty close with the Umbra coming into the game play now. lol Curious how the story will unfold in the new Quest for the Echo Umbra.

The only thing you got sort of correct was “turning frames into Umbras” and even then it’s just giving the frame temporary sentience by injecting Umbra’s memories.

Also where did you get that there’s a upcoming story quest for the Echoes? The video only claims that the Echoes are a drop from the new Disruption nodes on Lua and the Kuva Fortress.

EDIT: Oof, didn’t realize this was an old thread.

Think you need to be a bit more clear.

The trailer needs to be a bit more clear, actually.

The problem is that the artistic license taken with the new trailer completely confuses those of us who know how things unfold...maybe so as to not spoil things?

1. Is this young woman a colonist who is well-versed in the lore and the flowers are actually a high-tech means if waking the Tenno?

2.  Is this young woman the “operator” behind the Tenno.  The subtle clues are there that she is in a waking dream...remembering...and that her choice is Mag.  Mag is who she touches to wipe away the dust and it is Mag’s hand that moves in the “present” at the trailer’s end.

3.  Is the young woman actually the Lotus?

Waking within the subconscious waters of your Tenno’s mind?  Sensing the approaching Grineer, she navigates the Tenno’s memories to take the path that allows her to wake your Tenno with a mental command that is symbolically represented by the glowing flower.

So which is it?
