Rotating Dojo Decorations

So, I have been designing my own dojo for a while now, and I have had this one problem that has been annoying me the entire time. Whenever I enter decoration mode, and I try to rotate an object, it only rotates left and right. There is an option to change the rotation direction, but when I press the key associated with it, it doesn't do anything. If anyone has a solution to this bug/glitch/whatever it is, it would help me alot.

To rotatate it another way press z just press dont hold and it will switch the axis, it worked for me yesterday in orbiter and tehy use the same system.

I tried that, and it didn't work still.
