Wuclone Targeting Synthesis Targets

Not sure if this is the right place to post but.....

Wukong's Clone targets Synthesis targets! Equipped with a strong weapon, low to mid level targets die to wuclone before you can scan them.

I'd like it to be changed so that wuclone doesnt do that.

@.Owokin. Desummoning him is one way, but why does he target him in the first place? i don't think I should have to desummon one of my best tools in disrupting enemy fire while I synthesize a target, no? Pretty sure we've all been knocked down, killed, shot at, during synthesis.

Plus, i guess i'll have to permanently equip my guns instead of my melee's now, cause Wuclone WILL one-shot that target with a nice kitgun before i can even desummon.

Well, it is still on us. Not much more different than all the targets I accidentally killed with my Mesa while Simaris was too busy smoking a happiness pipe computing data.

Mesa is on you. You would have to hover the your aim over the target (even accidentally) while holding left click etc.

Wuclone isnt something we have control over. (Unless you actively used his 1 to target something, then thats on you lol)

I beg to differ. It's not on me when I don't even know there's a target in my crossair. If that argument were to hold then I'd say you can also easily disable your clone when you know there's a target close by. So Wuclone is controllable in this case.

Fair enough, another question: Why should i have to desummon an ally that is supposed to help in missions?

Well, for the same reason you have to stop whatever abilities you were using. In order not to harm it. But I'm not necessarily agreeing that Wukong should be able to attack the target. It's just a matter of consistency within the game as it is currently. Like how most frames can't affect Nullifier bubbles apart from very, very few exceptions.

I do wish Mesa, per my example, wouldn't be able to target it, or Wukong's clone. Wukong because, well, as you said it he's there to help. Mesa because "she's so good at aiming she wears a blindfold", so I believe there shouldn't be an issue with missing the synth target. Apply the same logic for most other frames that can make use of it, maybe leave some affecting the target. I imagine Saryn, for example, should still affect the target with her 1st and 4th since both kill indiscriminately.
