What, Mag rework?

my clanmates are saying Mag is getting an augment or a rework. if true, isn't this a big deal? where did this info come from? I'm pretty pumped about this.
imo all she needs is a better passive, AND/OR damage reduction on overshields.

I can hear a little train cry in the corner.

Anyway, all we heard was that Mag would, in some way or another, be able to do what was shown in the new opening trailer that was shown at TennoCon. No idea how that will work yet, or how extensive the change will be.

argh, i hope they aren't misled. I hope Pablo is on this. Mag doesn't need any sort of a dps increase, just added survivability. Wait and see I guess.

If it is then it needs to massively amplify the damage that it takes in, because the 2x multiplier magnetize gets at base is fine for player damage, but AI damage is significantly weaker than player damage so it would need at least a starting point of 7x or 8x ( wukongs defy has a base of 7.5 and can actually kill stuff)

I agree. Having taken her into a Sortie Stage 3 Eximus Stronghold Interception, Magnetize can kill things just fine (and Shield Polarize too, just not in Eximus Stronghold). But Magnetize and Shield Polarize don't do very much to keep her alive. Her best defense is ragdoll-locking the enemy with Pull, and I don't feel that's nearly enough

I think they meant poor Vauban.  All his powers range from "meh" to "why is this even here?" and everyone else is getting powers upgrades around him.

I use mag for most things, counter pulse does wonders for her survivability, though it doesn't help any when it comes to fighting infested.

Although having the ability to cost Magnetize on nothing would be welcome.  :)

that would actually make Mag quite beastly for Arbitrations. right now she's a bit limited by the drones.

just did a 90 min infested Arbie last night with Mag, only left because I had irl stuff to do. Fracturing Crush is the way to go against infested. it completely neuters them.

CP is great for other content, but also underperforms in Arbitrations.
