Issues with Tennocon drop

I still haven't gotten my nekros prime and im pretty sure i did the 30 mins and its been a couple of days

What DE said to do. Wait seven days and see if it arrives. Something about there being a lot of people meant it might take longer.

• If you are only ‘pretty sure’ maybe you didn’t watch for 30 consecutive minutes. You wouldn’t be getting the drop in this case.

did you make sure to LINK your warframe account to where you watched it? as if not linked on mixer an you watched on mixer you wont get it as has no way to tell if you reached the viewing limit.

also like last year there where many MANYYYYYYYYY people qualified for the free prime an took a week an this is no differnt. 

everyone who didn't get there stuff 2 seconds after the 30 minute viewing has gone oh god i havent gotten my free stuff yet an cant wait the week to make sure the script has ran through everyone in the list

I have this issue too; I 100% for sure watched enough of the stream and left it on even when I wasn't watching. But it's kind of ambiguous on what counts as "watching". I had the stream open from 4pm-7pm non stop and watched it idly while it was on my second monitor. Since Warframe's own website was totally borked for the majority of the stream, it wasn't possible for me to access my account page. But according to my twitch account there was a link, and after tennocon I verified that the link was to the username of my twitch account that I was logged into while watching. I know that this link has been fine as I've received drops in the past & used the twitch prime loot that went into my warframe account. 

So since we had redtext saying that the loot drops were completed in advance of the original 7 week ETA, I made a ticket to support and got this reply:

Which imo is kinda disappointing, since I seem to have everything sorted on my end, met the criteria, and still am not eligible for the rewards. I dunno, just seems unfair. But I have replied asking if breaking the link and re-linking, as the support suggested, will affect how they investigate or resolve this issue. But I guess it's just a matter of waiting the rest of the week before re-creating a ticket as told...

They just told me that all eligible users have got it and that my connection timed out so I am not eligible. I am pretty sure my connection did not time out and the account was linked correctly since I linked twitch, made sure it's connected and then watched for 40 mins straight while commenting during the stream in their live chat. This is shoddy customer service.

They just copy paste the same response to every ticket, if I were you I'd leave a complaint with the better business bureau and open another ticket, I'd also tweet at them so they stop ignoring us, canned response they give everyone below |

I will open the ticket just to be sure but it seems they try to hide it all under the rag with all necros prime topics suddenly giving me the error page.

  First, thank you for getting back to me quickly, I really appreciate your quick and concise response.

  Now, the bad news; this marketing tactic, a wonderful one is essentially a mutual agreement that is offered by DE to entice me into watching your streaming broadcasts. This produces increased awareness and visibility of your product, and adds to the hype for future additions to Warframe.

  You extended an offer to me to view the Tennocon live stream for a minimum of 30 minutes, and in exchange I would be receiving Nekros Prime, a mutually beneficial arrangement .

  I kept up my end of the agreement, and you feel zero obligation to keep up yours? I am 100% positive you are able to do this, even if not by the Mixer / Twitch automated process.

  As I stated, I received the Lotus vanity item which absolutely indicates no problem with my account being linked. My Warframe and Mixer accounts are one and the same, and fully linked via Xbox.

I was told that you couldn't mute the stream or you wouldn't get the drops. Is this true?
Tbh I don't think I muted the stream but I did lower the sound since I was playing WARFRAME in my laptop via remote play 😛
I got the Lotus drop quite fast during the afternoon. I was playing and watching the stream and I got an email with the Lotus drop.
Nekros Prime is taking a while.

My brother in law got his right after the tenncon. I'm still waiting. I got the lotus through mixer. I watched the main event on twitch. I know it was linked because I got that reward for linking accounts. I watched till 730 pm. I always made sure I didn't time out on twitch. My username showed up on the screen. Yet I still don't have NP. If it is true what support says, then I'm prolly just not gonna get it. It looks to me that people fell through the cracks in the script. It can happen to have your name skipped because of this or that. But still, you would think they would rerun to be sure. Some people got 2 NPs. I also noticed the missing forum threads. I would like to believe the DE wouldn't stoop to being shady to cover this up. But at the same time, one can't help to wonder. Which is part of why people are upset. I'm upset but I could have just watched on mixer and not twitch. So in the end we as players are partly responsible for not having NP.

Well, RIP everyone who didn't get Nekros Prime then (including myself)... Honestly I think since it seems to be a very common problem, and a lot of people didn't get it, they could just give Nekros Prime to everyone who got a Lotus Ephemera drop, but didn't get Nekros Prime drop. Because I'm sure that 99.9% of people who watched the stream with linked accounts before the big reveal, made sure to tune in during the main part of the stream. It's just straight up unfair to exclude people from their giveaway because of their twitch drop system bug.

I myself watched several hours including the cosplay for which my brother in law and I texted each other comments about the costumes. We also texted during the big reveal. He got his NP and I didn't. In fact his was waiting on him when he got ingame. So there ya go...RNG gods hatin' again. Hahaha

Well honestly.. at this point in am just mad at the fact that they took such an approach to the issue. They have already failed to do this before during Ash Prime. Why promise something which you cannot do. I have been playing on and off since 2014. This is the first time I felt that I will not take any of their future promos seriously because they essentially lied to me when they said they will add a nekros prime if I watched the stream for 30 mins.

On the matter why do it this way:

They can try to solve problems and check ppl- thats requires time and effort=money-> NOT HAPPENING

OR

They send botlike response to those unlucky ones and remove topics with this problem, community will do the rest=cheap and easy -> THATS THE WAY

So, how do you supposed they can check? Ask Twitch to hand over their data? And I mean data beyond what they already get.

What does support mean by "assist you in ensuring your connection is solid for future promotions"? Are they gonna come down to my house and blow on my ethernet plug for me? I don't need assistance ensuring my connection is solid. I linked my account and watched the stream for hours without a single hiccup.

If "a disconnect may have occurred due to overloaded twitch/mixer/steam servers" as these automated responses say, the quality of this connection is out of our hands as it is not our connection and the same exact thing can and will happen again, as it did this Tennocon and the Tennocon before that. We can relink our accounts, but that is no assurance of anything, as the link can just spontaneously drop.

I'm hoping for something like "The Great TennoCon 2018 2019 Ash Nekros Prime Drop Fix" to pop up in the next few days, since they only just finished going through the drops that worked correctly. If there isn't one I'll have to take a break for a while. I've got a bad taste in my mouth from all this stick and carrot trash.

1.You telling me DE and Twitch are 2 companies what dont know how their system works coz we already had a guy with response what he didnt watch stream long enough but its hard to show his post coz topic was removed by guess who.

2.Like i said they chose second variant and like i said community will, well it actualy already does, the rest ,like shunning ppl who dare to say something about DE.

Its a win for them and a -way to go for- in the future.

Twitch's data is what determines if you were considered to be watching for 30 consecutive minutes.

Thats only means what they knew about twitch problems and were fine with that.

They chose twitch,they stated about rewards.

With this reasoning they can promise anything and then tell "WHOOPS twitch glitch,not mah problemo" at any time

Essentialy you give them free "I do whatever i want with no consequences" card.

Twitch does indeed have algorithms to detect AFK and view bots though I'm not sure if muting falls in it. Apparently it can get aggressive from what I've read.

Muting doesn’t do it for me. I had the partner streamer panel muted the whole time - I wanted the drop but didn’t care about what the partners were doing. I still got the drop.

I am well aware of what you said. My response was to tell you that in my experience it doesn’t. I only buy things with real money to keep my CC active. I can just as easily spend it some place else with the same affect...not that they would care.

I don't want to come off as the " I'm upset I'M ANGRY" type of person. I took a day off just to make sure I didn't encounter problems like last times Ash Prime and yet after my Warframe and Twitch were still linked, the stream had been watched by me 11 am-6 pm and the 6 pm-7 pm, I didn't receive anything. People were saying you needed to wait 7 days so I proceeded to wait as more and more of my buddies got their rewards... and then a message is posted saying all the rewards have been dropped. So what did I do wrong? I know big events like this take time and can be hard to effectively pull off, but it also burns for the fans who went through the process and have nothing to show for it. I already submitted a ticket and can sense I'll get a similar response. If any Devs or Community managers are seeing this, please reach out to us.   "edit I was on mobile twitch app watching the whole time"
