Simaris quest reward blueprints? Why not Broken War?

As the title suggests, if Simaris gave the Broken War BP you could instantly alleviate a lot of headaches, especially with Stalker's bloated drop table. On top of that, perhaps put the Blade and Handle with Simaris as well, as the Sentients that drop Broken War pieces are both excessively rare and have a very low drop chance.

Stalker's drop table being incredibly bloated is one thing, on top of his very random chance at appearing and inconsistency in dropping anything of value (The past dozen Shadow Stalker kills under my belt yielded nothing but mods, no blueprints nor ephemera at all), especially when compared to the drop tables of Zanuka Hunter and the Grustrag 3.

It also feels somewhat inconsistent that all quest rewards EXCEPT Broken War are available from Simaris, including Broken Scepter, the Mandachord, etc.

The amount of headache plaguing people who want to build a throwaway to use on War is a unique multi-layered headache, and those of us who want Broken War back after making the mistake of using our free one to build War just have to wade through hours of RNG for both blueprint as well as three pieces (Two blades and a handle).

"Farm" is a strong word. You can hope that in a thousand appearances of Shadow Stalker that he drops the Broken War Blueprint instead of Dread, War, Hate, Despair, or nothing at all, but odds are you'll probably go a long time without ever getting it, if you ever do get it. RNG can hurt you like that.

Unless you mean burning thousands of ducats on Stalker Beacons, but that's just a ducat sink that only speeds up and guarantees his appearances, it doesn't change his incredibly bloated drop table or the RNG involved.

Congratulations, RNG has given you 5 of what I have yet to see in over a hundred total Shadow Stalker kills.

I still don't know how that's relevant to this discussion, however, because as a quest reward it is out of place for Simaris to not offer anything related to it at all and for the Broken War BP having less than a 3% chance of dropping, IF stalker drops a blueprint. RNG favored you, but it has not favored myself or many others. It may be an issue of eventuality, but his appearances are too sparse and too unreliable to farm him for anything.

It's not really out of place. Simaris sells all the BPs that you can't reobtain. Broken War has a farming method, ergo, it's not in Simaris, just like how Umbra isn't sold by him because you can't sell him.
