FeralKuja
Picture this: You get a Finisher kill. A swirl of Cherry Blossoms or a burst of roaring energy emanates from your Warframe as the enemy dies and the animation concludes. Adding an "ephemera" like slot but for Melee Finishers, adding unique effects to your up close and personal kills and brutality that shows off how much of a big bad Tenno you are to everyone around you. Perhaps even have "Default" Melee finisher effects based on your warframe, such as glass shards bursting from Gara, grass forming beneath Oberon, acidic slime pooling around Saryn, etc. To prevent frames that can do many finishers quickly from bogging down people's PCs/consoles with particles and effects, put the trigger for them on a 10-15 second cooldown so that Ash or Inaros doesn't just spam finishers until things catch fire in real life.

ExcaliburUmbra
Seems pretty neat actually. Maybe it could occur on the new cinematic finishers that seem to be being planned for Melee 3.0.

A test for it was posted on Steve Sinclair’s twitter awhile back if you want to see it in action (with some good ol’ dev build jank).
