things i do not counting

I noticed this when I was doing a riven challenge, I collected a good number of medallions during one of my missions and none of them counted, then I found out that I had to do that solo, but the riven didn't say anything about it needing to be done solo, just to find the medallions.  second time was just a few minutes ago, I was doing nora night mission kill 150 enemies with melee weapon.  first round I got all but 20 and then when I loaded into another mission the total I needed to kill reset back to 150 as if I never killed a single enemy.  can u please look into this?
