Shoelip
UPDATE: See next post I had to do a fresh windows install the other day and installed Warframe first thing and ran it really quickly to make sure everything was working. It was. Today when I tried to start it up the launcher immediately goes to a screen saying "Support for DirectX 9 has ended. We hope you can upgrade your graphics card soon." and links to a forum post about the minimum system specs for the game I tried starting space engineers and Three Kingdoms TW just to see if my Direct X had actually somehow stopped working, but it was all fine. It's just Warframe that's suddenly decided I don't have Direct X 12. I even ran the error log thingie for Warframe's launcher and it says I have DX12, but I still can't start the game. I have a GTX 970 with the latest drivers installed. Edited July 12, 2019 by Shoelip
Shoelip
Figured it out. What changed in between today and yesterdayt was that I installed the latest Nvidia drivers. Version 431.36. When I rolled back to the previous version the problem went away so the issue is that Warframe doesn't recognize this driver. Just roll back to the last most recent one and it should be fine. katieboo
Thank you SO MUCH for this. Just updated my drivers yesterday after having issues with the new Premiere update, and of course it broke Warframe. 😕
