We have a political party up here called the pirate party.

It's my favorite party.

They have no popularity, though.

Wait, are you an Aussie?

I think we have a Pirate Party too.

And a Stoner party.

And a Communist Party, if I recall correctly.

All three of them are minority groups, though.

Nope, I'm not an aussie. I probably wouldn't say "up here" if I were.

I'm norwegian. Which by the way is pretty much on the opposite side of the world.

I didn't even see 'up there.' I read too fast.

At least you guys have better weather up there. Aussie weather can't tell if it wants to be kind, cruel or downright murderous.

I'd probably melt, were I to go there.

I can hardly handle summers in Norway.

to us, 25 degrees in the winter is cold.

Some areas inland get to -1 or lower in winter.

40 or so is only just bearable.

Anything in between that is normal weather for us.

Well, if 'normal' equates to 'extremely passive-aggressive to extremely-agressive'

25 degrees isn't cold.

It isn't cold at all...

According to my English teacher, Britain considers 25 degrees bikini weather and thinks it's time to post up the 'drink water, stave off dehydration' posters.

In Aus, that's the 'Get the insulated clothing out' weather.

No really, 25 degrees is summertime to me.

Winter is more along the lines of 0. It can go a bit over, and it definitely can go quite a bit under.
