That's why I stayed single for the longest time, independence means you get to do what you want without dealing with someone else and their particular interests. Gender was different but once getting over the hurdle of 'coming out' as trans I became complacent (until the hormones hit). Family was running around asking "who can I tell, what do I call you?" I ran into plenty of hateful individuals, who adressed trans, bi, basically anyone with sligtly different opinions than theirs, as if they didn't even consider that all those minorities consist of human beings. I spoke to some of them and none had ever even attempted to engage in respectful conversation or simply try to understand the "other side", because it's easier to hate something you don't know. Fortunately, I also met more than a handful of people, who conflicted at first, realized that there's nothing separating people of other sexuality/identification/whatever from the society, that ultimately we are all equal. There is also the majority, that one group of people... who don't care at all :b. They just mind their own business and I think this is the most appropriate approach - not making Big Thing from something many consider top private. But hay, I'm very proud of Y'all just casually sharing experiences on the topic, love such stories ♡. ...and love writing esseys, apparently. The oblivious moments are the best. After learning about what I am at a young age. A few years later during a sex-ed class the teacher mentioned how males view themselves as the male in pornography. This made no sense to me. So I ended up talking to friends and trying to convince them otherwise. Locked in cryosleep for years Arrogant and edgy, but not without reason. Possibly among the most powerful beings in their respective world. Use more gun than necessary. Tragic event aboard a space colony. Shoot lasers from hands. Have attacked the world, but then realised that was a really bad idea and probably wouldn't be what a dead, female, adopted family member would have wanted, so became anit-heroes instead..
