Mars Junction boss is way too tough to kill.

Question

I don't understand why the hell this boss has so much power. Constant shields and one shots aren't exactly the most entertaining thing.

None of the other Junction's I've done have been this hair-pullingly frustrating. I don't get this sudden difficulty spike spike tbh.

I could use some advice on beating him, using Volt's shield doesn't really help much.

All of the junction specters should be easy enough as long as your weapons are at least somewhat decently modded.

Which Warframe are you using? Excalibur makes junctions all too easy by just slapping a Radial Blind and then follow up with a finisher.

If you do not have Excalibur, the easiest way that I've done is to get up close and personal, as the Specter's guns seem to deal more damage than their melee. Alternatively, farm as much Endo as you can and level up the main damage mods (Serration, Hornet Strike, Pressure Point, etc).

Shoot his backpack, get in melee, roll out of the way so he freezes himself. He's a Dark Souls style boss.

A lot of players have trouble with phase bosses.

He’s talking about the junction, now the planet boss.

OP - the boss isn’t overpowered. It’s much more likely that you are underpowered. Make sure your mods are levelled up and you’re going in with your strongest loadout.

What frames do you have access to?

dont know if i should laugh or cry i remember killing all specters with just Excalibur and his blind and unless somethings changed it really shouldn't be that hard

Not having Excal kinda sorta makes that strategy a little bit impossible.

Electric Shield makes you immune to his Tigris and Freeze projectile, boosts your own gun damage,
and gives you a spot to safely restore your Shields if needed, all at the same time.

Don't shoot the Globe right after he casts it, there's a short period in which it absorbs incoming fire.

Stay out of range of his Avalanche (AoE that freezes you),
be prepared to roll out of the way should he cast Ice Wave.

If he moves to the side of you, you can pick up and relocate your E. Shield
to save some Energy over re-casting it in a new place.

I think that should about cover it, I just (successfully, go me) tried the fight
using nothing but an unmodded Volt and MK-1 Braton plus only Electric Shield
(a single one at a time, even though shooting through multiple will add yet more damage to your shots).

It took a decent bit, but my Shields never even fully went down,
so anything you've got should (if used correctly, heh) fare even better 😄

For the record, this was meant to be an encouragement rather than a brag, but what it actually ended up being, you decide lol.

With this boss he is slow on attacks and thus sprint around him and at the same time slightly nick him with a weapon I suggest the MK1 BO and as soon as you hit 0 blue health jump away from him until the blue health is back up again and then keep repeating until he is dead k.

And also its more effective if you use fire mods on your weapons (max ranked molten impact which is meant for the MK1 BO which can make you pretty much extremely powerful)and also use the highest ranked health mod(and if you want to succeed easily I suggest making it max ranked) on your warframe.     it was so EASY to kill him with this technique.

[stuff]

It's generally a good idea to check post dates, you necro'd a topic from ~3 years ago.

Also, seeing how you figured out how to edit your posts, why not do that rather than have multiple posts one after another?

Why do you specifically suggest the pretty much worst Melee weapon in the entire game? :P

These fights are meant to tell you whether you are doing something wrong. And it seems you are.

1. Get better weapons. Max them out and use somewhat ranked mods on them.

2. Mod your frame with somewhat ranked mods.

3. Utilise basic game mechanics: movement, abusing soft cover/third person, headshot damage multiplier

If something doesnt work, find the problem and resolve it.

Enemy shields trouble you? Use weapon with antishield damage (magnetic/elecrtic) to strip them.

Enemy 1 shots you? Either get more EHP or dont let him hit you at all by either killing him faster or dodging/using cover.
