selig_fay
New Simaris mod. Picking up health orb, you get a stack. Each stack gives you a permanent passive shield recovery equal to 10% of your shield recovery. A maximum of 10 stacks. Each health damage takes 1 stack and ignores the damage. (this doesn't work as a Revenant defense, literally every damage counts) Other implementation: You can only have 3 stacks. Each stack fully protects your health for 1-2 seconds. (Activated by any health damage). If you have 2 stacks, the volume of shields will be increased 2 times. If three, then in 4 times. (This will allow the shields keep the damage the same way as health with similar characteristics of hp and armor. 4k shields = 400 hp + 2700 armor) Edited July 13, 2019 by zhellon

If you scrap the shield effect the mod will be about as good as it was going to be. I see very little point in shields on almost all frames. This is a nice way to implement a kind of shield gating. The mod would need cooldowns and everything if it is going to block all damage.

I'm sure cooling isn't necessary. Health orbs themselves falling very rarely. Need special frames or mods to increase their chance of drop. Almost always this mod will depend on your gameplay. It's not passive shieldGate hildryn where Arcana can give virtual immortality. One status slash and toxin eat all your stacks, if you not protect yourself abilities or in other means from status. I think it's not so OP to make any cooldowns, but will help some frames with tanking on shields, such as Gata, Trinity, Hildryn, Revenant and etc. I'm thinking of adding more volume shields and overshields instead of constantly rebuilding. For example, increase the shields 10 times. Edited July 13, 2019 by zhellon

This mod would be excellent in Desecrate Nekros. Without a cool down you would be borderline invincible. Besides what is the problem with having a short cooldown? You said it yourself, health orbs are rare. There is reasonably high potential for you to get only one stack anyway. The cooldown will have very little impact on this. So why not have one? I don't see any problem with this special build, as you'll still have to keep the guard alive. The main thing that it suited the others. In any case, we do not make the decision. Edited July 13, 2019 by zhellon
