Rewards For Forum Activity?

I see many that help fellow warframers with useful information. 

 

Why not have some rewards for post counts, having such and such reputation and more?

 

It'd be a great motivator for the forums.

 

Also, can we have total rep maybe below our post count?

Nah, i don't think that's even necessary. I help because i wanted to give something in the form of information and not because i want to receive a reward or anything.

 

That would just make the forum more chaotic, imo.

silly suggestion as i consider every thing i say a nugget of pure gold, and thusly would not have nearly as much reward as a annoying spammer or constant complainer.

No thank you, all it does is encourage shytposting, of which the forums are rampant enough with as it is.

    Well in all fairness. I feel this idea has potential, not in the form of currency or rare weapons/mods or anything. However think of a badge that marks your forum rank? Something cosmetic that really only shows your post count rank. I think that'd be neat!

I would agree with forum time. But they could just let it open and play the game.

 

People should spent more time in the forum. Helpful information that they don't know can be found here.

Yeah, rewarding forum activity on paper might SOUND like a good idea, but in reality, it's a terrible idea. We don't need rewards for being on the forums, hell, I consider my reward being able to give feedback and hopefully improve the game.

As much as more people on the forums would be a good thing, as it would prevent half of the spam in any given chat ingame, it would only result in more spam on the forums.

 

Post Count is a bad way to go about this.

No, you want rewards you play the game. Most posts are not helpful and reputation can be easily baited by useless responses.

Anyone who has ever been on Gaia knows that having any kind of achievement for forum activity is just asking for trouble. Expect stupid topics like "Who would in in a fight between Loki and Wile E. Coyote?"
