Enialyx
Would really prefer them. Nothing against having both bps and rep purchases available.
(PSN)Hikuro-93
I think DE has been pretty clear on their answer, despite all outcry - nope. They were updated to match the Fortuna trading system, making the whole open world part of the game a more consistent experience for new players. Sad that only some get to keep the BP's though. I wouldn't mind having mine taken for equality's sake, but that's just me. Even though an "old player" bonus always feels good either way. The old system of making baits was convoluted and required multiple times of entering and leaving the plains over and over again while crafting bait if you wanted a higher level bait. Now you can just purchase some glappid or norg bait, and have it pay for itself and then some with only one or two fish caught, the rest being pure standing. It's so much faster to get the fish now, and a lot less confusing to new players. Instead of going "You need this bait so you can fish this fish to get this other bait so you can get some other fish to get a third bait...." its now just "Oh you need X fish? Buy this bait and start fishing."

With that part I must agree tbh. I expected to see rare fish spawning with no bait in PoE, like in Fortuna.

That's a good point. If you're going to change bait to be more like Orb Vallis, change fishing to be more like Orb Vallis, too. You don't NEED bait to the same extent there, as even rare fish will still spawn occasionally, but bait helps. In Cetus, you straight-up HAVE to have bait or rare fish just don't spawn... And even with bait they don't spawn a whole lot anyway. That said - why not have both? I still have my old bait blueprints so I have the option to either buy bait or craft bait. Why not give this option to everyone, as well?
ESYLD
Or add bait blueprints as clan research? I'd like that! 😊
