Limbo should be invisible in the rift to enemies outside the rift.

Limbo, one of the best crowd controller, is actually an amazing Warframe to play with. However, I've been thinking. Why cant Limbo be invisible in the rift to enemies outside the rift. I mean it kind of makes sense as people cannot see past dimensions like the 4th dimension and stuff like that. I don't know, but it would be cool.

I think that as a passive it might be a bit too good (since Limbo can literally just stick himself in the rift infinitely) but I have been thinking about ideas to suggest a slight rework to him (mostly QoL and his 3), and this might make a good ability component.

Its bad enough that Limbo can AFK/Leech by remaining immortal in the rift the whole mission, imagine if he was also invisible?

Actually, I think that would be an interesting downside. Rift realm completely isolated from the material realm. When you go into the Rift, you can only see rifted enemies or allies and of course you can't interact with objects or carry things.

I always keep on thinking of Soul Reaver when I think of Limbo. In Soul Reaver, you had enemies that lived in the spectral realm, and enemies that lived in the material realm. There are also some enemies that could cross through the rift planes. Hell, they could go the extra step and have the environment deform in the rift. If Soul Reaver could do that on the first Playstation, I'm sure it wouldn't be much of a burden on current hardware.

No. Nope, absolutely big NOPE. As the Limbo main myself, i can tell you, that we don't need any form of invisibility whatsoever. Limbo is OP enough has no moments when you can think: "Hm, i definitely needed an invisibility here!" Spy? Use rift to bypass lasers/magnetic fields and kiddo to be invisible if you ever need it. Rescue? Send entire room into rift and hack the console while nobody can deal something to you.

Don't touch his 3. Its good enough at its own, especially with Rift Torrent.

Yeah, might as well make Loki's invis even worse by doing this, what could go wrong? /s

What means even worse? Loki master race's invisibility is one of the best in the game, cuz it has a lot of duration and doesn't restrict your movement.

Seriously tho, just use Shade

You wrote Banshee wrong.

Dead enemies are not an option around squishframe, they are a requirement.

I'm well aware, but I also realise it's pretty niche in the number of situations it is good in. I was thinking of making it a wheel ability of similarly 'useful but niche' rift powers, since that seems to fit - similar to Ivara's quiver.

Rift Surge as it is now would be one of those abilities.

Also upgrading your Focus tree, 1 ability per 1 minute in the rift.

And passively gaining plats and arcanes, being able to rework teammates's kits on the fly while playing too.

Because he'd be absolutely OP for stealth since lasers can't be tripped by him. Leave 90% of stealth missions to Ivara, Limbo already has Lua's to call his own!

By the way he already is harder to detect using his passive. Making it equal to the stealth frames would kill any use for the stealth frames.

Hm... That would be pretty neat, especially considering that current interactions with Rift include only putting enemies in/out, freezing time and killing stuff in Rift. I'd like to make Rift Torrent one of those powers, because it makes Limbo very good weapon user like Chroma. Or give us crit chance + crit damage instead to make us even more OP frame.

Summoning 10 clones of himself, leveling up to rank 80, giving himself additional mod slot every 30 seconds, acquiring every Corrupted mod, ESO loot, 10 nitain per minute..
