Some of u may not be one of thm but here I am trying to sell my Unranked Energize and Dokrahm Riven with very good stats and pretty much everytime i shout out a price in my PMs, they sometimes say like 100P for my Dokrahm Riven same with Unranked Energize and im getting sick of it and its happening for like few weeks, if this keeps going thn trading could be pointless to me cuz of almost every buyer I have

I once tried to sell a prime frame for 200p (was on .market for 220p). Got a pm offer of 75p. Some people just feel entitled. Either ignore them or block them and move on.

If they doesn't paint a picture look up choosers beggars on reddit. That sub is only this kind of interactions.

Its free market.

If there is no demand you need to lower your price. That is how it works.

Imo. this is what is wrong with Riven trading. Some ppl overprice the rivens and others think its the baseline and get angry when noone wants to buy them.

At some point, I had 12 rivens I wanted to sell and was unable to sell a single one of them for 2 or 3 weeks. Then, out of a sudden, they were all gone in 3 days. They were all unrolled and cheap apart from a couple that turned out to be good. So, eventually, it will work out. However, expensive rivens for popular weapons are always hard to sell for a good/reasonable price. You have to be patient and persistent and it will work out at some point.

Far more people are using .market and other tools than they were in recent years.  Energize (R0) on consoles dropped from about 100p to 75-80p avg thanks to NW... Same will happen with Grace in a month or so.  Plus, now that .market has unvieled rivens, people are really scrutinizing prices.  Trade chat is now scammers/flippers trying to drastically low-ball and insanely inflate prices anymore.  About the only decent deal you find there is trash p parts for ducats.

I know some don't like the greater player base having a tool that lets even brand new players have the knowledge to know the current going rates, but it is what it is.

If you think you deserve more, watch .market and sell when items are going for higher prices.  I've personally been sitting on a few Energize and AW mods like Sabot and Dual Rounds in the hopes they become vital for Railjack.

Remember you are in a free market with at least 4 populated regional servers to choose from. Some people like to barter, and offer rediculously low prices as others ask rediculously high prices. For either side it might be a strategy to open dialogue, and maybe meet in the middle. If all else fails, save yourself some aggravation and open a warframe market account and drop your items in. Either way, with a bit of patience you will most likely get the price you are asking for.

Well more people have R0 Energize and are trying to sell them.  So demand is down and supply is up.  Your best bet is to take CuChulainnWD's advice on put them on .market.  It takes longer to sell, but you also can just set your price, add a note in the bio saying prices are not negotiable (if you don't want to barter) and wait.

Been selling on there for about a year and as long you're patient it will sell.  Toss all kinds of duplicate rare mods, etc up.  You'd be surprised what people buy

If the prices are different depending on wut platforms we play on, i didnt know tht it has some kind of Impact on trading stuff for platinum

Pc gets plat discounts, console does not (other than maybe twice a year).

Thus, Pc players generally have more plat than console... thus the cost ie. plat, is often higher.

So while your Riven might be worth hundres of plat on Pc, it'll could be 100-200p on console.

Don't overvalue your crap to begin with. Supply and demand.

You have something and want 200p for it. No one wants it, therefore it has no value.

Lower your expected price until people say "Meh, I guess I could use that". I've more plat than I know what to do with by doing that.

That really is good advice.  Selling low while selling quickly and in quantity seems to be the best way to make plat consistently.  I always match the reasonable low prices on the market and things move quick as long as there is any demand.

OP:  Also, there is a graph/history of purchases on .market that is extremely helpful in determining how well a certain item sells and what the average price is. You can get the sales 90 days back (that were logged through the site) giving you a good idea of whether an item is stable or fluctuates in price, so you can better decide whether to post it low or sit on it at a higher price.

Yep. Works for me in every online game with a market.

What people in this game don't always understand is that this isn't like a real product. For example, in the real world you create Item 1 by crafting it with Item 2, 3 and 4 which you obtained from a supplier for $5.00 each, with $5.00 in labor cost. Ok, so not including a markup, you can't sell below $20.00 or you're actually losing money. Supply costs can also apply to crafting classes in MMOs.

Except you don't have that in this game. There's no supply costs, or labor costs. It's simply time, time you were already spending in the game and happen to get this RNG item with potential value. If you get even 1 plat out of it then it's a profit. Obviously you'll aim for more, but no meaningful work was put into creating this product and with no set economy to dictate a set value.

If you don't use it, either hold onto it if you think it's worth more until you find a serious buyer or sell it for the best price to free up a slot. (if you're running out of free slots)

Yeah, there are lots of people in the market who will try to lowball, just put them on ignore.

Though not setting a price is just like invitation for these sorts of people, some others simply don't have an idea what your item is worth and they just tell a random number insignificant enough that they can throw away. (which will not be the case usually, lowballers are more common than clueless people who never even looked at the market prices)

Solution is to set a price, then they can't complain when you block them for wasting your time.

And like others said it takes patience sometimes, if something doesn't sell, sell something else.

Edit: That or you can transmute it into another riven which might worth more, almost forgot this option, who knows maybe you roll an Opticor or Lecta riven or at least you get rid of something taking up your riven slots, it's a win anyway.

Oh no no no.... I'm definitely one of them....

Its something I realised a week after I started trading and I guess I just startes doing it too because uhm... peer pressure ?

That being said the best way to avoid this sort of thing is to state your Price right then and there and only deal with people who do the same.

WTS Unranked [Arcane Energise] 200P

If anyone messages with anything other than the specified price.... ignore them.... no really.... add them to your ignore list.... they must suffer for their brazen attempts to trying and shake you down when you already stated the price.... do not condone this behavior.

If for whatever reason you want to buy something from someone but they said WTS without a price.... then message them with one offer.... if they try to heggle then ignore them.... not the same type of ignore as the one up above but negotiations have been concluded so its best to move on sooner rather than later....

And yeah.... thats all I can offer on the topic. At the end of the day its a free market and something is only worth whatever that person willing to pay for it or sell it for....

Case in point.... I don't care if Volt Prime is worth 150P.... I specifically won't be parting with my spare set for anything less than 600P.... I suffered for those parts and anyone who wants them must Suffer just as I did ! 😠 I'm perfectly happy with letting them rot in my inventory. :)

Were you referring to the Lanka?  Because iirc, the Lecta is a whip.

OP your better off waiting to trade after a major update, or on weekends. The more players the more exposure, the better. I cant speak on the Dokrahm riven but I woudnt take anything less than 150p for the energize arcane.
