Email Change Reseting my whole progress

So I had been playing the game for a while and I wanted to get back to it when I saw some trailers, I installed it and when it came to logging in I decided to update my accounts Email through the warframe website. And so i did but the weird thing is that when I went to log in it did recognise my account but as a brand new one. The account is over 1 year old and I lost all my progress starting all the way back to choosing my starter warframe.

I contacted support but automated Emails would get me anywhere. If you can help I would really appreciate it.
