And I'm saying this as someone who loves Archwing - there's just no reason to perfect those builds. Even the hardest Archwing mission is crazy easy. There's literally nothing in the game so far that needs you to actually Forma an Archwing. The weapons, sure, but now you can slap a Gravimag on them and Forma them in regular missions like regular weapons, which is way better. People will try to quickly pass it and continue farm Prime/hunting/Kuva/need to write. And archwing mission will remain empty and the only fun will be to drive beginners on them. Let's see what happens in the combined missions of the empires. But so far we have heard only in words that archwing players will be able to help somehow. All they showed was the use of archwing as transportation. And Yes, now they all will jump, so you can throw this mod on speed... Most of the rank up ways are pretty bad, most good mods are way too expensive to both farm and fit into a build, and the resources associated with these things are more of a pain in the behind to get than the average resource farm. And then they expect players to go trough all that hell just to play an undesired game mode that few care for. Take a look at K-Drives as well, which they want us to use more. And yet they are nothing besides a trick-board that loses interest over AW once the novelty feel fades away. If we could do more cool stuff with these systems and game modes people would use it much more. So, they make it hard to get into, hard to reach a comfort point once you've invested yourself into it, systems tend to be clunky and rewards are relatively not worth all the effort. I hope Railjack changes at least some of these things. Just for context, I have all AW's and KD's fully mastered and forma'd. And I use both as needed. Would have given at least the opportunity to shoot with them or something. And if they think the caves will limit my archwing flights, they're wrong. There should only be mods for mobility and that's it. We already invest enough into our frames. We don't need to be a tenno inside of a frame, inside of this archwing module with separate stats and mods. It's just redundant I think. The missions are a neat way to envelope in that full open 360 environment but, having to use archwing weapons and archwing specific abilities? There are operators, everything else is redundant. Am I right? That archwing that k-drive represent gameplay. And if archwing has a very developed combat system, the K-drive was originally designed to be just transport. But we don't just need a transtport, we have a volt and soon we will have a runner.
