I need to know step by step instructions to get more platinum i got 5 platinum left. Can anyone help me?

Go to: https://www.warframe.com/buyplatinum

Input whatever you need to input to pay, and tadaaa...

Otherwise, do what @Pumpkin_Head said, farm prime parts or rare mods, and sell to other players. You can check https://warframe.market to see prices or post sales.

Uhm.... the responses in this thread is seriously lacking in detail...

to be fair, it really is that straight forward. Well, buying the plat is.

Farming for stuff people are willing to trade plat for is a bit more complicated, being that you need to have the correct parts of the game unlocked and know where to farm what you're looking for (the wiki can help with that stuff though). Also knowing what's in demand will help, and paying attention to trade chat in-game and using the links others have provided will be how you do that

The only way to be good at trading is know what's profitable (though the market links, in-game trade chat, ect.), farming for those things, and being able to find a customer (which I guess would be more up to luck if you primarily use in-game chat, Don't really know about the sites since I've barely used them.) It isn't very complicated, just know what you're looking for and go for it. If it was very easy, however, DE would never sell platinum.

You're jumping the gun.... Theres still the issue f deciphering that jargon in Trade chat and understanding warframe.market's website interface...

I thibk understanding this first would be more important than all the tiny nuissances of trading like looking up how much something is worth

I agree, being able to read trade chat is important.

There are a few acronyms to look out for that will typically begin the most posts: WTT (want to trade), WTB (want to buy), and WTS (want to sell) These indicate what the poster is looking to do. That being buying, selling, or trading of course. If they want to buy or sell, it most likely means they are looking to exchange goods for platinum (or vise versa) while trading means goods for goods.

Most people will make sure the item(s) are linked in chat, so the full item names will almost always be listed. You will usually message a person you're interested in dealing with.

If I got anything wrong, or I'm missing anything else that's vital feel free to correct me/ say so. It's worth it to note, this is what I've learned from my experience on Xbox. Other platforms might do some things differently, but I have no way of knowing that.

Edit: as for the market website, it looks fairly easy to navigate, but I have little experience with it myself.
