Oberon's Defection

Question

I've been thinking of finally clearing the nodes Caracol and Yursa, the 2 higher tier defection nodes, with my Oberon, but before that, I want to rework his build so he's well set for the task.

I do have regular Oberon, not the Prime and I don't own any of the Arby modes and only a few corrupted ones that I have never used.

Normal runs are enough, tho I might wanna stay in mission long enough to get Harrow parts.

In that case add the mods blind rage and transient fortitude, if you have the umbral mods use vitality(if you dont know what umbral mods are just ignore it), but basically oberon is really good with a lot of strength and rage, you dont need a lot of range or duration

I don't own Blind Rage, but Transient Fortitude. But I never used it and I'd rather not to.
Tho I have the Umbral set.

Defection is an Infested mission where you don't actually have to kill more than a few power cell carriers.

Infested are shut down very well by Radiation status effects so I would suggest building around his CC abilities. Mostly his Hallowed Ground and Reckoning. You don't need much Power strength and a good amount of Range will help keep them off you and the escort units. As mentioned the Osprey are the only enemies you need care about, they also happen to be range enemies which Radiation status has a comparatively less reliable effect on so they should be killed when you see them.
