Just noticed this when I finally looked out the orbiter windshield. Too many Stars for realism. lol 282A4F690C1F1794B1482CCA564F87994AC38D7B

Too many stars? You do realize the reason you don't see that many stars on Earth is because of light pollution, right? No such thing in space, so you get to see it in all it's glory. Which means countless stars everywhere.

Even without light pollution, there's this thing called the atmosphere, and that already affects what we see in space.

My inner astronomer says you should see more than this:

This is taken on earth with the atmosphere causing extinction and attenuation of light. In space, no such things exist.

There's a reason why they put Hubble up there.

In where i live i can see one or two at max, would love to live in a less urban area, maybe a farm or something an be able too see the "real night sky"

Curiously, i remeber been able to see way more star when i was a kid, even constelations, polution grew really that much in 20 years?
