How do I check how much tradeable and non-tradeable plat I have?

Question

In Warframe, some platinum is tradeable and some cannot be used in player/player trades. But I don't know how much tradeable plat I have and I don't know how much non-tradeable plat I have. Is there a way to tell these apart aside from actually being in a trade screen? Total noob question but thanks in advance.

There is no in game way of doing this.

When you buy items in the market it uses the non trade plat first.

Have fun and may RNG be forever in your favor.

Only thing I can think of is, grab a friend or clanmate, go to the trade screen and see how much plat it shows in that screen. I would think only your "tradeable" plat amount would be shown in that screen, compare that number to your total plat amount and that should give you your answer. I can't confirm this works because I'm at work but, in theory...

Sounds about right. There is a handful of plat posts saying "why can't trade X plat when I have Y".

Yeah, and from what i can remember the only untradable plat is gotten from account creation (the 50 you get at the start) as they dont want people just making alt accounts getting them to 2 trading it and killing the account. Soooo go for like something that's more than that and you should be good 👍

Plat given away on Twitch streams and at Tennocon is also untradeable.

As I understand it, the general policy is that if it wasn't somehow paid for with real money at some point, it's untradeable.
