Nightwave isn't tracking right

So I'm doing my nightwaves like a good tenno, then all of sudden, in my second invasion mission, the invader and shiny challenges reset. So instead of having the 3 invasions done, it says I have 2 after doing 3. It seemed to be back on track after but I thought the fact it reset my progress was concerning.
