What do we know about Empyrean?

As far as i'm aware it's slated to be released this Summer 2019 according to their Roadmap. But what worries me is that during the demo, i only saw Sonys Playstation Logos. 

 

Does this mean they're restricting content to console now? If so, i demand that not be the case. This is a free game, and both consoles should share it equally.

 

If that is not the case ignore the earlier statement. Thanks for your time.

No they eever do that with an exception being a few cosmetics being console olny but content big like this no. My guess its just a sponsor in that image

Sony probably gave them some extra cash, or you were watching it via a Sony conference. DE has never hid a major update like this behind a console-exclusivity deal to my knowledge. A skin or two, yeah, but not this.

 

As for it being slated on their roadmap - there's 0 guarantee that the roadmap is accurate. Admittedly, it would make a lot of sense based on how much progress we've seen of the 'jack (and how many competitors are releasing in September), but game development be unpredictable.

Empyrean is coming to all platforms. We don't have a set release date.

I figured as much, but its Sony and Microsoft, two toxic as f*** gaming companies who have been competing since like 1980 or 1990s. With a long history of being selfish instead of thinking about their consumers.
