So I tried out Wukong on Mot

And I was able to stay for 1hour and 17 minutes.

So basically Wukong is still able to survive long endurance runs. I mainly wanted to see how much hit did his survivability took. And not much. He's still able to take a hit. From Nullyfiers (lvl 135) he takes one hit. But you can cloud walk into their bubble and melee them to death so no big deal. His 3rd is actually great. It does a ton of damage even to armored enemies. It's definitely able to clean out trash mobs and deal a good amount of damage to the heavy units. His 1st does a great job dealing damage. And I didn't use his 4th.

I wonder if It's possible to do a 2-3 hour run with him. I will not try it because I got a serious headache from sitting there fighting nonstop.

The point of the 3 is not for damage my dude. And taunting is unnecessary when you're solo

No. 3 is for both armor and damage. Armor is capped, while damage is not (CMIIW), which is why on simulacrum, i can single swipe 6 corpus tech level 140 into oblivion with it.

Its actually good enough for cc ragdoll with armor as reward,  if damage isn't enough.

1 question tho: is the swipe affected by iron staff mods or not?

This.

And I'm still woundering, solo or not, is the taunt a mod-induced radius of "come-and-fight-me", or is it just making you more desirable to any mob that has you in its agression range ?

I'm not talking about the spin, I know it's affected by mods.

You're taking at minimum 2 seconds to do that.

2 seconds of Iron Staff smashing will leave Corpus enemies in more of a bloody mess than that fallout perk.

Does Defy deal damage? Certainly, it's very capable at it, but I wouldn't recommend building for it when the staff exists.

No, my build is actually 3 secs, enough for me to take a quick bite on my ovomaltine+strawberry slice filled toast, its yummy btw...

Might I ask what your build was ? Kinda curious about his limit too, but can't be bothered to do that ^^

Sure.

Vitality

Transient fortitude

Primed Continuity

Adaptation

Rage

Intensify

Primed flow

Augur Secrets

Tho you can go with a more duration heavy build and put on steel fiber if you want to focus only on the survival aspect. I left out those mods because this is more of a "use it for everything" build so I didn't want to take away from his 3rd's range. (Umbral mods are completely usable with him of course.)

Edit: I also have Primed sure footed. And Steel charge for aura.

I might try to build a more staff friendly build for him. It's really powerful and satisfying to use. I didn't really feel like using it because I really like using my new Zaw.

I used to hate using melee weps, till i played reworked wukong. Not even zaws feels as good to use as his staff.
