Warframe Concept: Strix- The Protective Gargoyle

    Sometimes in my free time, I'll entertain myself by thinking of things that would be neat in Warframe. I figured I'd share the latest idea with all of you.

 

    Strix

    Defensive Support and protection

    Armor- 250

    Health- 125

    Shield- 100

    Energy- 175

 

   Passive- Guardian: Allied deaths increase ability range by 5%. Maximum boost of 20%. Companion deaths grant a 5s boost. Otherwise, lasts until extraction.

 

    Ability 1- Savior: Strix teleports to an ally, granting both Strix and the ally a temporary armor boost. Note: This ability has a similar selection mechanic to Vauban's mines. Icons are displayed as the ally's assigned number (1,2,3, 4).

    Range: Unlimited?

    Armor buff: 25%, scales with strength (Maximum of 60%)

    Duration: 10s, scales with duration

    Cost: 15 Energy

 

    Ability 2- Obelisk- Strix causes a pillar of stone to erupt from the ground, granting nearby allies with a periodic heal, and overshields. Reactivating causes the obelisk to implode, granting all nearby allies bonus health for a short duration.

    Range: 15m, scales with range

    Heal: 100 hps, 50 overshield per second if at max health. scales with strength

    Drain per second: 3.5 energy per second, scales with efficiency 

    Bonus health: 40% max health, doesn't scale

    Bonus health duration: 15s, scales with duration

    Cost: 25 energy

 

    Ability 3- Sacred Flame: Strix breathes fire onto the ground beneath her, causing a radial burst of flame that damages and curses nearby enemies. Cursed enemies have slower reload speeds. Killing cursed enemies grants her Obelisk a temporary strength boost.

    Range: 15m, scales with range

    Damage: 100, scales with strength

    Fire proc chance: 25%, scales with strength

    Curse debuff: 15%, scales with strength

    Obelisk boost: 5% per enemy, 40% maximum. Doesn't scale

    Obelisk boost duration: 10s, doesn't scale

    Cost: 50 energy

 

 

    Ability 4- Angel's Ruin: Strix destroys her Obelisk to summon her exalted hammer. When the hammer hits the ground, flames erupt forwards in a cone, cursing enemies they hit. When a cursed enemy is killed while Angel's Ruin is active, Strix gains the same boost as berserk., with the same cap. Strix also gains a radial aura similar to that of her obelisk. Casting obelisk will deactivate this ability.

    Aura range: 15m, scales with range.

    Aura heal: 75 hps, 75 overshield per second, scales with strength

    Fire proc chance: 25%, scales with strength

    Curse debuff: 15%, scales with strength

    Drain: 5 energy per second, scales with effeciency

    Cost: 100 energy

 

 

    General Appearance: Stone, Horned, Paladin. Lacks wings and a tail for the sake of fashion. Has openings on her face and body that reveal a hollow interior and flames burning within.

Up until Ability 4 I had "why are everyone suddenly designing LoL characters" going through my head.
The kit is really interesting, however everything but 4 should see a huge buff.
Passive requires your allies to die several times for a 3m increase in range, feels contrary to any game objective
25% armor would bring almost nothing to high armor targets because of DR and nothing to low armor because 25% would amount to very little, either make it flat or DR
Obelisk's bonus health should scale, just take a look at wisp's vitality mote as an example
That flame needs more damage and maybe make reload speed attack speed, since enemies don't generally live long enough to reload
Generally buff either range or duration, having to build for all 4 stats leaves you with Ember, again I'll bring Wisp as an example since her buffs last 30 sec and her skills with range are at 20/40m.

/oppinion

Otherwise I'd play the concept right now, it sounds really fun, is actually built around a consistent theme and has abilities that would work well together, rather than the usual mash of different abilities with no context. Also your vision of the design sounds awesome.

It is not a good idea rewarding allowing allies to die.

Armor buff to weak. Also this skill can be useless if you are playing solo (allow it to target obelisk and do something especial )

please no. this would cause allot of issues with people just letting their team die for a buff.
